Governance
Governance and accountability
Our health purpose guides the work. Clear responsibilities, appropriate safeguards and accountable use of resources support its development.
Organisation details

- Unincorporated association

Our purpose and beneficiaries
WrightWayz’s Association Rules place advancing health through peer support, digital resources and education at the centre of its work, with a focus on people experiencing mental-health challenges and addiction recovery.
The association’s income and assets must be used to further its purposes. Public information is available online, while the founding community focus is the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.
Management and oversight
The Association Rules provide for a Management Committee of at least three Responsible People appointed by members. They set requirements for meetings, financial decisions, record keeping, conflicts of interest and accountability to members.
This overview describes the governing structure in the Rules. Operational arrangements for each future activity must be established before that activity begins.
Enquiries about the Rules, organisational documents or governance can be directed to joshfounder@outlook.com. Documents can be considered for sharing in a form that protects personal information.
Current work and planned activities
Current public work includes introductory information, lived-experience perspectives, reflection resources and organisational development.
Structured peer support, scheduled groups, case management, clinical services and a physical hub are not currently operating. Proposed activities depend on a suitable scope, governance decisions, capacity, funding and safeguards.
Development and funding priorities
WrightWayz welcomes discussions about projects that advance its health purpose. The following areas describe development priorities, rather than funded programmes or confirmed partnerships.
- Accessible education and informationPrepare and review understandable mental-health and recovery information, including clear sources and links to established support services.
- Practical digital resourcesDevelop and test reflection templates and tools that help people organise information and prepare questions for appropriate support.
- Preparation for peer-support activitiesDefine roles, training needs, consent, privacy, referral boundaries and safeguarding arrangements before structured activities are introduced.
- Gold Coast hub feasibilityAssess local needs, potential premises, operating requirements and costs before any decision to establish a physical space.
Planning and reporting
Before proposed funded work begins, its activities, intended beneficiaries, expected outputs, responsibilities, costs and reporting arrangements will need to be agreed.
Reporting should explain what was completed, how resources were used, feedback received and what was learned. Intended benefits should be distinguished from outcomes that have actually been measured.
Prospective funders and collaborators are welcome to discuss the information needed to assess a specific proposal.
Contributions and donations
Donations support WrightWayz’s development. Donations are not currently tax deductible. Our donation link opens PayPal, which processes payment on its own website.
WrightWayz’s funds and information must be managed in support of its not-for-profit purpose and kept separate from commercial activities.
