Resources for reflection and understanding
Introductory educational material informed by lived experience, with links to established services for further support.
WrightWayz’s resources use plain language and familiar ideas to help people reflect on patterns, organise their thoughts and consider a constructive next step. They are free to access without membership.
These resources are educational material. They are not clinical assessment, therapy or a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional. You can pause or stop a reflection exercise at any time.
The Admin Mindset
The Admin Mindset uses computing ideas as metaphors for reflection and personal agency. People are more complex than computers; the framework is simply a way to organise questions about what is happening and what may help.
- Notice what is happeningDescribe the situation in your own words. What needs your attention now?
- Look for a patternWhat keeps recurring? What circumstances seem to affect it?
- Identify what you can influenceSeparate what you can change from what needs support, time or another person’s involvement.
- Build your support networkConsider trusted people, useful routines, community resources and appropriate professional care.
- Choose a manageable actionIdentify one safe, realistic next step rather than trying to resolve everything at once.
- Review and adjustWhat did you learn? What might you approach differently next time?
WrightWayz Cognition
Cognition is our introductory approach to examining a thought: notice it, question assumptions, consider evidence and update your perspective when useful. It does not assess your mental health or provide an individual care plan.
